Film commentary: Ushi-nichi
It is not easy to explain the absurd to children! Extravagance, discrepancy, illogicality, false correlations.It is a form of humour that depends a lot on the era, the culture but also on the age of each person.
With the pupils, imagine examples of absurd humour, situations that appear logical but make no sense, associations of words, objects or characters that have no connection with each other.
As early as CM1 and CM2 classes, why not tackle laughter as a communication tool and in particular absurd humour in advertising: everyday life transformed into nonsense with the aim of provoking laughter.
List with the children the absurd and irrational situations in the short film and try to understand how the comic effect is created.
