Les escoles d'animació i cinema són una font essencial d'informació per a descobrir pel·lícules originals.
Consulta periòdicament les webs de les escoles de cinema i animació,empreses de producció audiovisual, igual que seguir les notícies defestivals Films pour enfants, ofereix la possibilitat de descobrir nous curtmetratges adaptats al públic jove.
Moltes pel·lícules de graduació són fantàstiques! Fer una pel·lícula de graduació és un moment privilegiat per a un jove director perquè sovint els estudiants tenen 1 any entre escriure el guió, crear els personatges, els escenaris i fer, sol o amb altres, un curtmetratge sense restriccions comercials.
Els mons escènics i visuals de les pel·lícules de graduació solen ser molt originals i no tenen res a envejar d'una producció de gran pressupost.

Personalment, ens agraden molt les pel·lícules de l'escola La Poudrière, al nostre parer les més originals, fetes sovint en animació 2D; creen universos molt poètics. Animació MOME a Hongria i la Universitat d'Art de Tòquio també.

També tenim un especial afecte per l'escola-estudi SHAR a Rússia, les pel·lícules del qual ens submergeixen en mons molt en moviment.
