He hopes he can fly away.
4Why is he disappointed?
He is disappointed because the ride, to his great surprise, does not take off.
5What will he decide to do?
The little boy thinks that the merry-go-round will eventually fly away if he puts in more coins; he works his whole life to save money and when the day comes, he puts all his coins into the carousel.
6What happens then?
The ride takes off! It is a fiction, an imaginary story. Or maybe it's only happening in the head of the hero of the story.
