Vocabulary and grammar of animated cinema for 6-11 year olds
With the support of the Ministry of National Education and the CNC (National Center for Cinema and Animated Images), the cinema lexicon, intended for 6-11 year olds, is presented in the form of courses composed of games and exercises created from the films on the portal.

Course 1: Frame / On-camera / Off-camera / Sound off
This course will allow students to identify and appropriate tools of analysis and expression through vocabulary, but also to carry out preparatory activities for the making of a film.
Expected end of activity
Framing, framing, camera operator, shot-reverse shot.
The difference between the frame in painting, photography and the field in cinema.
The importance of off-camera as a staging tool.
Express your sensitivity and imagination with cinematographic language, say something to be heard and understood using appropriate vocabulary, use drawing in all its diversity as a means of expression.
Course 2: Composition / Plan scale / angle of view
This course will allow students to identify and appropriate tools of analysis and expression through vocabulary, but also to carry out preparatory activities for the making of a film.

General shot, long shot, medium shot, close-up... foreground, second ground, background, normal angle, high angle, low angle, depth of field.
Understand and use the tools to compose an image. How does the framing influence the message?
