Mobilize language in all its dimensions.
After the students have exchanged texts and drawings, you will be able to deepen the notion of messages to communicate and establish correspondence. How to discover and perhaps understand, love another person without meeting them?
With the neighboring class but why not also with another school, another city or another country?
This activity can be organized in several sessions.
Establish a correspondence (like between the two snowmen and sandmen in the film) with the medium-large class next to yours. Write a letter to the neighboring class. Lend and share a book or film that the children enjoyed. Create a drawn composition on the theme of this book. Write the letter in the form of a riddle (common collective writing orally) then, for example, copy words on glued strips of paper. Wait for a response from the neighboring class (who could send you a recipe that they liked to make, or a reading that they enjoyed...).
