Learn how to perform a magic trick.
Here are two magic tricks, to try yourself before offering them to the students. The “mystery number” trick requires being able to mentally and discreetly add numbers for a sum less than or equal to 100. It is therefore not necessarily suitable for all students. The “mystery card” trick is accessible to everyone. It requires a deck of 52 cards for 2 students (or to print the partial deck provided in the file for each).
Depending on the choice of one or both rounds, print the file(s) on thick paper preferably (like bristol).

It is possible to present each trick separately to part of the students (who will then have the task of preparing the trick and then presenting it to the other group). A presentation to students from another class is also entirely possible. Depending on the students' possibilities, let them follow the instructions on the sheet explaining the trick, or guide them step by step.
