Make a slideshow

Show the video to the students without telling them anything. Gather their impressions and ask them to formulate hypotheses. What do you think this cartoon is about? Then give the title of the film to the students and translate it with them. Watch the video again and collect new hypotheses. Then give the explanations to the students by talking to them about the poem by Federico Garcia Lorca. Read it and make the links with the video. Rewatch the film and look for the gypsy girl, the guards, the moon...

Then ask the students to imagine how they could draw the dreams of a sleepwalker, drawing inspiration from the video and the poem. Everyone will be able to give free rein to their imagination and use the material of their choice (drawing, painting, cutting, collage, etc.). If necessary, watch the video again and take note of the shapes and colors for inspiration.

Once the productions are finished, take photos of them and then put them end to end in a slideshow. Show this slideshow to the students. We can then put it to music by choosing the same one as the video, or by taking another one.

Organize a viewing session with other classes or with parents to highlight the children's work.
