Work on the composition and recognition of facial expressions.
Recognize expressions in the film and draw expressions on other characters.
Prepare a quiz using the attached expression sheets.
First, ask the children to recognize the expressions of the crocodile and the dentist. Retell parts of the story to recreate the context of the scenes described.
Ask the children to describe the elements of the face and how their shape affects the emotion conveyed (the shape of the smile, the eyes when a character is afraid, the drops of sweat, etc.).

Once the children have fully grasped these elements, they will be ready to draw their own characters. In groups of three: one student draws a face with a particular expression that the other two will have to try to guess. Each of the 3 students will draw in turn.
The drawings can be presented to the whole class at the end of the session.
