Commentary on the film

The stop motion short film depicts in a very original way the estrangement that develops in a couple over time. Gravity does not work in the same way for everyone: one person's floor becomes another person's ceiling. Through this house divided into two worlds, the film very sensitively evokes loneliness, the difficulties of living together, dependence and the compromises necessary to continue living together. Despite their arguments and their inability to understand each other, the two characters remain deeply connected.
