Dream questionnaire

1- The character who touched you the most?

Winnie Pooh in the Russian cartoon; he is really very touching, especially when he tries to think logically and foresee consequences.

2- The character that scared you the most?

Recently, Cathy in the book East of Eden by John Steinbeck. When I was little, the tiger Shere Khan in Roman Davydov's Soviet cartoon: Maugli. The monster who lived in the wardrobe of an episode of the animated series: Ghost Busters.

3- The character you would most like to meet?

I can't choose just one! There are many.

4- The character you would like to reincarnate as (^_^)?

I really like Hayao Miyazaki's characters.

5- The world you would like to live in?

In Wes Anderson's films.

6- The world you wouldn't want to live in?

In the news from Varlam Shalamov who spent decades in the Gulag. He then wrote a big book with lots of very tough little stories. The sad thing is that this world really existed.

7- What role would you like to play in a work of fiction?

I don't like to play. So, I would prefer not to play a role.

8- Your earliest memory of fiction?

I think it was Maugli that I saw with my father in a small children's cinema in our neighborhood in St. Petersburg. I must have been 3-4 years old.

9- Your favorite word?

If we're talking about French words, I really like the word "asticot". It's a bit strange but, to my Russian ear, it has a very nice sound and I imagine someone small and very cute. In fact, I just found out how to write it. I always thought it was "astiko".

10- Music you would like to listen to now?

Nina Simone and Rachmaninoff.
