The mechanical devices in Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds. I had nightmares after seeing the film in the cinema.

Porco Rosso in Hayao Miyazaki's film.
4- The character you would like to reincarnate as (^_^)?
Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. I will then be able to reincarnate as Gandalf the White.

Kiki's town in the film Kiki the Little Witch by Hayao Miyazaki.
6- The world you wouldn't want to live in?
The Mad Max desert.
7- What role would you like to play in a work of fiction?
The herbology professor at Hogwarts in Harry Potter.

The stories my father used to read to us before we went to sleep.
