Georges Seurat

An opportunity to introduce children to the works of Georges Seurat. The film notably features the famous painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (1884), a perfect example of pointillism, a pictorial technique which uses small juxtaposed areas of color rather than mixtures.
