Commentary: Logorama
A satirical film to make children think about consumer society, the omnipresence of advertising and brands in our daily landscape. All the characters and settings were created from 2,500 multinational brands and logos.
The film mixes the detective film and disaster film genres with a very dynamic setting, worthy of American blockbusters. The ending, far from being a happy ending, leaves us thinking about the future of our industrialized societies.
Logorama won the Oscar for best animated short film in 2010.
Be careful, this film contains violent images that may offend some young children!
