A very beautiful short film about the voluntary search for memory, the reconstruction and reinvention of the past.
Understand the story and themes, express your feelings and develop critical thinking.
1Who is the main character in the film, and where is she?
She is an old lady in her house, perhaps even in the attic, since we can see the exposed roof beams.
2At the beginning of the film, the lady takes in her hands a game called “Memory sprint, a fast game to remember”, what does she do next?
She leaves her house, starts running and begins to transform.
3What tells us that we are dealing with the same person who is getting younger?
The clothes do not change; the morphological changes are consistent with rejuvenation (the person first becomes a little taller and thinner, because they are then adults, and therefore not “stuffed” by age; then, they become a child again.
4When the little girl finishes her run, where does she go, and how do we know?
She returns home. She puts on her grandmother's shoes and goes into the attic to join her brothers perhaps?
5At that point, she becomes the old woman from the beginning again. Why?
Because it was a fleeting thought; we imagine that his presence in the attic of the house brought back all his childhood memories. (A film similar to the film “Waves” which deals with a similar theme)
