An adorable short film, a fun way to talk with young children about fear of the outsider, tolerance, and the joy of connecting with others. The short film “Hi” was selected at the Takorama 2020 festival organized by the Films pour enfants association.

1The characters in this film are strange: one is cubic and the other spherical or even pyramidal. What does this represent in your opinion?
It represents the meeting between people from different cultures.
2Initially, the spherical character tries to make contact with the pyramidal one. How does he do it?
He puts on a triangular hat to try to look like his companion, but, alas, it doesn't work and our pyramid runs away.
3It doesn't work, but our hero doesn't stop there. How does he come into contact with the cubes?
He starts the conversation and, straight away, communication works.
4What does the cube do next?
It "rounds" its corners to try to look a little like the sphere.
5What happens to the pyramid?
She stays in her corner and sulks, unable to fit in with the group.
6What do the words we see at the end of the film represent?
The word "hello" in different languages.

All cultures can meet and coexist with a great desire for open-mindedness and a desire to learn about our neighbors.
